It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, father, uncle, and friend, Yvon Beaudry, on September 26, 2021. Yvon was born in New Waterford on April 7, 1984.
He had a love for life that was undeniable. He loved going fishing with anyone who asked him. He looked forward to teaching his little niece Isabella how to fish, even before she was born. He loved taking his little buddy Jackson fishing and couldn’t wait until his daughter Lola would be old enough to take her so he could share his love for fishing with her as well.
Yvon was the type of person who would be there for anyone in need. He loved building things for the kids and if he didn’t have the tools or resources for it, he would come up with something to make it work. He loved his mother Debbie more than anything and was so close to his brother Franky and sister Brittany. The bond that they shared was something that could never be broken.
Yvon was a hard-working man who would pick up jobs wherever he could. He loved the challenge that was given to him at any time. He was a wonderful man, who in 37 years, was able to touch many lives and create friendships that would last a lifetime. He had a kind soul, always seeing the good in everyone. A pure gentleman, one who never complained about anything.
Yvon is survived by his mother Debbie (John), father Francois (Lynn) of Montreal, brother Francois ‘Franky’, sister Brittany, daughter Lola, niece Isabella, little buddy Jackson Grezel, special friend Krystle Grezel, and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Yvon was predeceased by his grandparents Elizabeth and Thomas Hogan.
We would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their support in taking care of Yvon during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, 902-862-7500.
