Wilfred James Walsh

Wilfred James Walsh 66, New Waterford/Glace Bay It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Wilfred Walsh on September 23, 2011. A retired coal miner, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Geraldine (Downy) Walsh. Wilfred is survived by his son Alexander (Sandy), sisters Mary (George) Cecchetto, Sylvia (Dave) Jeffrie and Stephanie Walsh, all of New Waterford; brothers David (Yvonne), Bernie, both of New Waterford and Kenny (Ingrid), Ontario. Besides his parents, Wilfred was also predeceased by his brother Michael.

Service:
Cremation has taken place and a service to celebrate Wilfred's life will be held in the chapel at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford on Tuesday, September 27th at 11 a.m.with Deacon Leo Penny officiating.
