It is with great sadness the family wishes to announce the passing of their husband, father
and grandfather, Thomas Evely, on July 2, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Born May 9, 1948 he was the son of the late George and Mary (Morgan) Evely.
Batman was an avid CB Radio operator as well as ham radios. He enjoyed hunting and
fishing, his family and grandchildren meant everything to him.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary (MacLean), son Tommy (Shirley Ann), daughters
Patricia (Robbie) Steele, Joyce (Scott) Price; ten grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren;
sisters Brenda (Benny) MacKenzie, Joyce; brothers Brian (Glenda) and Blaise.

Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his son John Joseph, in infancy, grandson
Jamie, grandmother Margaret Morgan; sister Cordella and brother Kenny.

Cremation has taken place and a chapel service will be held Tuesday, July 9th at 11 AM
with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating in McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer
