Theresa ’Tracy’ (Halnuck) Wight
1946-2019

It is with great sadness that we the family, of Theresa ‘Tracy’ Wight, announce her sudden passing on November 22, 2019 in Mississauga, Ontario. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Anthony) Halnuck. Tracy worked in the electronic industry for many years and in her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, reading and skating. Tracy loved her family and cherished the times they spent together, where she was surrounded by their love. She is survived by her sons; Lee, Gordie (Stacey), and Paul, Grandchildren; Amanda, Matthew (Vickie), Courtney, Dylan, Justin (Megan), Danielle and Paul, Great grandchildren; Alexander, Nickolas, Draven, Triston, Austin, Joel, Mason, and Lily; Sisters; Sadie Pastuck, Rose Lewis, and Frances (Danny) Campbell, Sister-in-law Carmel Somers, Brother-in-law Stanley MacDonald, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers; John, Ronnie, and Paul Jr., Sisters and brothers-in-law; Pauline O’Quinn (Robert), Elizabeth Martin (Harold), Hilda MacDonald, Kathleen Lee (Robert), Suzanna, Raymond Pastuck, Phillip Cam Lewis, and daughter-in-law Michelle Mercer. Tracey was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and Aunt, and will be missed by all who knew her. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2019 at 11am at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Interment will be in Saint Agnes Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the K.O.C. on Plummer Avenue.
