It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of their mother and sister Sue Anne Keough on April 27, 2012 at the Northside General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Victoria Mines, she was the daughter of the late Blaise and Theresa (Chiasson) Campbell. Sue Anne loved sports, especially skating and bowling but most of all she loved nothing better than playing cards with her family, which she excelled at. During her career days she worked as a secretary but most of all she was known for her keen sense of humour and very 'dry' wit. She is survived by her daughter Wanda (Paul Rawding), Tantallon, NS, son Andy (Barb), Sydney; sisters Claudette, Marilla (Vincent), Joanie (Rickey), Cathy (Joe), Lynn (Kevin) and brother Donnie (Celeste); granddaugher Courtney, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by brothers Billy, Senley (in infancy) and her long time partner Wynn Hatcher. Cremation has taken place under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave.,New Waterford, 862-7500 and a celebration of Sue Anne's life will take place on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10am in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Ave., with Father Ray Huntley officiating and burial in St.Joseph's Cemetery, New Victoria. A luncheon will follow at the parish hall, Convent St. Donations in her memory can be made to the Northside General Hospital, C.B.Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society.
