It is with heavy hearts that we the family wish to announce the passing of our dearest daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, Sheila MacCormick on April 26, 2019 at the C.B. Regional Hospital. Born October 13, 1956, daughter of the late Frank Bota and Margaret (MacDonald) Bota.
She was a kind, friendly person who enjoyed a good laugh and most important to her was her family. Always ensuring to call her children multiple times a day to check in. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. She is I survived by her mother Margaret, loving husband of 38 years, Kevin. The two of them were inseparable, very seldom you would see one without the other. They have set an incredible example for their children on what it means to take the vows “For better or worse and through sickness and in health.”
She will be missed greatly by her daughters Amanda (Adam), Janaia (David) and Rebecca; grand-children Alexis, Alyssa, Austin and her precious dog, Mia. Also missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters in-law,,nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her father Frank, father and mother in-law, John and Olive MacCormick. The family would like to thank the nurses of the Cancer Centre, Social Workers, VON and nurses working at the CBRH, especially the nurses and doctors on 4B and Palliative Care; the care you provided was exceptional and your kindness will always be appreciated.
