Sean Joseph Hogan

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of their beloved husband, father, son and brother, Sean Hogan on October 3, 2012. Born in Toronto, raised in New Waterford he is the son of Art and Patricia (Carrigan) Hogan. Sean is survived by his loving wife Cheryl (Baldwin), daughter Olivia, his parents Art and Patricia, sisters Patricia (John) McPhee and Alicia (Stephen) Wilkie, Windsor, ON.,Grandmother Marie Carrigan, mother-in-law Rose Baldwin, brothers-in-law Kevin (Yvonne) and Robert (Melissa) Baldwin; sisters-in-law Dawn Baldwin, Bernadine MacNeil, nieces and nephews Jennifer and Jordan, Shera and Tyler, Ryan, Carter and Dylan, Gregory, Nicholas and Katelyn, Jessica, Bridget and Maria, also very close aunts, uncles and cousins. Sean was a proud member of the New Waterford Volunteer Fire Department and there will be a Firemen’s Funeral in conjunction with the funeral mass. He worked at Saf-Way Auto Parts, New Waterford, he loved to tinker with his Mustang, even when the Mustang would not co-operate with him. He loved his family and was always willing to lend a hand when needed. Sean had an infectious grin and touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with and always made people feel comfortable and welcome. He was a lover of dogs, especially his two boys, Rocco and Dodger. He was predeceased by brother Michael; Grandparents John Joe Carrigan and Tom and Georgina Hogan; and father-in-law Kevin Baldwin. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 6-9 pm and a funeral mass will be on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 10 am in the Parish of Saint Leonard with Father Ray Huntley officiating with cremation to take place following. A reception will be held at the New Waterford Fire Hall. All are welcome.
