Russel James Marsh

It is with a heavy heart that the wife of Russell Marsh announces his passing on March 20 2013 from a short courageous battle cancer. He left this world with the love of his life by his side, his devoted wife of 32 years Ann, his brother Tom and father-in-law Louie by his side. Russell worked for Centre 200 for a number of years and most recently with public works as a dispatcher. He was a kind loving husband and Son-in-law. He loved hunting with his father-in-law, listing to his favorite tunes and spending time with his wife and cats Coco and Lucky. He is survived by his father and mother-in-law Louie and Theresa Digero whom he called Dad and Mom and resided with for 31 years, father Louis Marsh (stepmother Norma), brothers John (Brenda) Marsh, Kenneth (Leslie) Marsh, Alex (Odette) Marsh, Tom Marsh, sister Janie (Paul) Vickers, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his best friend and brother-in-law Russell Digero. Cremation has taken place and a chapel service will be Wednesday, March 27th at 11 am in the funeral home, with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Burial in St. Michaels Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the K.O.C., Plummer Ave. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500 Donations in memory of Russell can be made to a charity of one's choice.
