Rose Mason

It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of their mother, grandmother, Rose Mason on July 2, 2013 at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Waterford she was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Ransom) Cloake. She was a member of the N. W. Pensioner's Club, enjoyed darts, bowling, dancing, cards, singing and was an avid reader as well as doing crossword puzzles. Rose is survived by her sons Ron (Thelma), Glace Bay, Todd 'Bo' (Tara), North Vancouver, and daughter Donna Hagemann (Clarence), Ponoka, Alberta, grandchildren Ryan, Tanya, Roselyn, Darin and Zachary and great-grandchildren Cody, Jadyn, Joshua, and Max. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her husband Roderick (Todd), brothers Arthur, Basil, Terrence and sisters Margaret, Pearl and Theresa. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place and a funeral mass to celebrate Rose's life will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 10 am in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Ave., with Father Ray Huntley officiating, followed by a luncheon in the parish hall, Convent St., all are welcome. Family flowers only and donations in memory of Rose can be made to the CNIB or a charity of one's choice.
