Rachael Shirley Brewer

It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of our mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rachael Shirley Brewer on February 7, 2015 at Glace Bay Health Care surrounded by her loving family. Born in Glace Bay; Rachael was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Currin) Morgan. Rachael had a love for nature. She enjoyed going for walks on the beach with her family as well as picking berries and had a special love for her garden which she would spend a lot of time looking after. Rachael was an avid reader and like to doing puzzles. She is survived by her son Charlie, Dominion; daughters Sheila Rideout, Newfoundland, Shirley (Kevin) Tracey, Amherst; sister Brenda (Benny) Corbett, New Waterford; grandchildren Alisa, Kevin, Robie and Stephanie (Darryl McNeil). She is also survived by her great-grandchild Carter, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Graham Brewer, 4 sisters and 1 brother. Cremation has taken place. Respecting Rachael’s wishes there will be no service. Burial will be held at a later date.
