Michael Joseph Macdonald

It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Michael MacDonald on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Victoria, he was the son of the late Angie MacDonald and Laurie (Burchell) MacDonald.

Michael loved to be out on the water, lobster fishing and also enjoyed working with his hands and being outdoors.

He is survived by his mother Laurie; children Michael (Jessica) and Morgan (Eric); sister Kelly (Glenn); grandchildren Cole, Kohen, Madison and Brooklyn; niece Renee; nephew Parker; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; as well as his companion Winnie Gatza.

Michael is predeceased by his grandparents Wilson (Lorraine) Burchell; uncles Ralph and George; grandparents Angus (Elizabeth) MacDonald.

There will be no visitation. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the funeral home chapel at 11am with Deacon Leo Penny officiating, followed by a luncheon at the K.O.C. Hall, Plummer Ave, All are welcome. Burial will be held in St. Josephs Cemetery.
