Mary Louise Mackenzie

We the family regret to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend Mary Louise MacKenzie in Alberta. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Patience and Jimmy MacKinnon.

She was a very good, loyal friend to all who knew her. She loved to bake and share with her friends she was known her for crafts and sewing.

Mary is survived by her sons Angus (Juanita) MacKenzie, British Columbia, Darrell (Shirley) MacKenzie, Cold Lake, Leon (Shauna), Glace Bay; daughters Mary MacKenzie, Sydney, Nadine (Allan) Seelly, Lethbridge, Alisa MacKenzie, New Waterford; brothers Jimmy (Lorna) MacKinnon, Tommy (Theresa) MacKinnon; sister Joan MacKinnon; 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 special grandchildren and many people who considered her their mom.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband John Angus “Pumpkin” MacKenzie and her son Alexander in Infancy.

Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will take place on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11 AM with Deacon Leo Penny officiating. Internment to be held in St. Michaels Cemetery.
