Mary Ellen Leblanc

Mary Ellen LeBlanc passed away peacefully in the hands of our heavenly father on May 13, 2015 at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital with her family by her side. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sarah (Kendall) Burns.

Ma enjoyed playing bingo, cards, bowling and spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Scotchtown Ladies Auxiliary and a life time member of the Army, Navy & Airforce, New Waterford, NS.

She is survived by her children Paul (Karen), Sandy (Debbie), Julie (Kevin), Eleanor (Tony), Florence (David) and Nick ; brothers Ray and Michael “Pepper” and sisters Jackie and Caroline.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands Frank and Charlie, sisters Florence, Teresa and Marion, brothers John, Mike, Andrew, Frankie and son Mick.

In keeping with Mary Ellen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Burial will be held in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
