Margaret Veronica Roach

It is with great heartache and deep sadness that we the children of Margaret Veronica
(MacInnis) Roach regretfully announce that our beautiful and devoted mother passed away peacefully after a short illness on August 11, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 8, 1937 she was the daughter of the late James and Nellie (Boutilier) Macinnis.

Ma was raised in the community of Shenacadie and later moved to New Waterford where she was a homemaker and raised her family.

She leaves to mourn her seven children, Neil (Sarah), Delphine (Alex) MacLeod, Hubert (Barbara), Tena (Troy) LeBlanc, Joe, Leona (Les) and Lenny; grandchildren Kallie, Katlyn, Kendra, Kyle, Marie, Hannah, Brandon, Johnathon, Sharlene, Krystal, Amanda, Anthony, Tanya, Shannon, Stephen, special grandson who was like a son, Raymond and sixteen great-grandchildren; sister Loretta, Halifax and brother George MacInnis of ON. Marg will also be missed by Jim Donohue and Shauna MacKenzie, former son and daughter-in-law.

Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her loving husband Edgar, brothers Murray, Johnnie, Roddy, Jimmy and sisters Mary, Sadie, Olive, Theresa, Hattie and Patricia.

Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held Wednesday, August 15th at 10 am
in the parish of Saint Leonard with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating, Interment in Mount Carmel
Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the parish hall, Convent St, all are welcome. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer
