It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorne Allister Campbell, at home on Friday, April 16, 2021.

Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late John Dan and Martha (Deveau) Campbell.

Lorne was a coal miner until he retired. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time at his trailer in Inverness. Lorne also enjoyed spending time with his buddies, socializing over a beer.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Dan Campbell, and his good buddy Harold.

Lorne is survived by his brother Colin Campbell (Linda), Burlington, Ontario; Niece Darlene (Gerald), New Waterford; Nephews Danny (Mary), Glace Bay, Brian (Claire), Burlington, Ontario, Chris (Michelle), England; several grandnieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family service will take place at a later date.
