Leo Matthew Corbett

It is with broken hearts that we are announcing the sudden passing of our beloved Leo Matthew Corbett, 46, of Lingan, on May 10, 2022. Born in New Waterford on June 15th, 1975, he was the son of the late Blair Corbett and Doreen (Bezanson) Corbett.

Leo was a heavy equipment operator for the last many years, doing jobs he wanted to be doing since a boy. His hobbies were enjoying his many dirt bikes and ATVs with his son Max, riding his Harley with his partner Julie, and spending time with his numerous friends who all miss him terribly. He also enjoyed spending much time outdoors.

Leo is survived by his mother Doreen Corbett, his pride and joy, his son Max, who he adored and idolized as anyone who knew him would know, along with Max's Mom Angela (Campbell), his partner Julie O'Donnell, who loved him dearly, brother Allan (Katrina) Corbett along with their children Ava and Jace, his Mother and Father in law George and Carol Campbell; brothers in law Joey, Brad, and Stevie; sister in law Terry, along with their spouses and children, as well as many special friends that were family to him.

Leo was predeceased by his father Blair Corbett, his grandparents Leo and Mary Corbett, Weldon and Stefie Podgurski.

Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 1 pm, with Deacon Lorne MacNeil officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, followed by a reception at the K.O.C. on Plummer Avenue.

Donations in Leo’s memory can be made to his son Max.
