Leo Freeman Boutilier

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Leo Boutilier announce his passing at Harbourstone Enhanced Care on March 20, 2018 at the age of 80. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Cecil and Cecelia (MacPhee) Boutilier.

In his younger years, Leo enjoyed playing little league baseball and joined the army for a number of months. He worked in a nickel mine in Sudbury, Ontario and also worked as a painter.

He is survived by his sister Clara (Sheldon), Sydney and her children Norma, Mississauga, Brian, Kingston, and Glenn, Port Hope; brothers Cecil (Alma), Bedford and Alfie, Sudbury; cousin Patsy (Brian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his great friend Harvey.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters Janette and Lindsay.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Burial will take place at a later date.
