Kelly Mckay

It is with heavy hearts that we, the family announce the passing of Kelly McKay, 45, on Tuesday September 27, 2022. Born in New Waterford on October 23, 1976, she was the youngest daughter of the late Joseph and Viola (MacPherson) McKay.

In her earlier years Kelly worked as a pharmacy technician for Lawton’s. Kelly loved spending time with friends and family, especially her cherished son Joshua and her fur baby Rascal.

She is survived by her son Joshua, sister Kimberly (Dennis) Tobin, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of McLellan Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave, New Waterford. A funeral service for Kelly will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday October 7th, 2022, in McLellan Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a burial service in St. Michael’s Cemetery, River Ryan with Deacon Lorne MacNeil officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Army, Navy, Airforce Unit 217, New Waterford, all are welcome to attend.
