John Michael Mackinnon

Michael MacKinnon passed away on May 27, 2011. Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Michael (Micky) and Kathleen (MacLean) MacKinnon. He was an industrial mechanic, and loved to work on cars. He is survived by daughter Shauna MacKinnon; sisters, Kay(Bob) Marler, Monica (John) Boudreau, brother; Joe (Mildred) MacKinnon; grandchildren; Lance, Kyle, Evan, Madison, Kylie, Mary Kate, Anastasia, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by daughter Michelle Florence, sisters; Betty Merriam Laffin, Teresa (Frank) Ransom, Shirley (Duncan) MacKinnon, Roselyn (Wayne) MacDonald, Anne (Sidney) Syvret.

Service:
Cremation has taken place and funeral mass to celebrate Michael's life will be held Thursday, June 2nd, at 10am in the Parish of St. Leonard's, with Fr. Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave, New Waterford 862-7500
