Hughie Francis Ryan

Hughie Francis Ryan 54, Victoria, B.C/ New Waterford It is with deep sadness that we the family announce the passing of Hughie Francis Ryan in Victoria, British Columbia. Born in New Waterford, he was the son of Alice (Colbert) and the late Hughie Ryan. He worked as a laborer for many years in the oil fields. He also involved with A.A program and helped many people. Hughie was a lover of the outdoors. He was a very friendly person and love to help others that were less fortunate that himself. He is survived by his by mother Alice, sisters Hughina, Judy (Ray), Sydney, Mary, Sydney, Debbie , Portage, Joy, New Waterford, brothers Jimmy, Inverness, and John “Buttons”, New Waterford, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he is also predeceased by his sister Shauna and brother in-law Jimmy “Bacon” MacPherson. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery at a later date in the family plot.
