Hilda Rita Macdonald

It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and sister Hilda “Heidi” MacDonald on November 29, 2012 at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Waterford she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Anthony) Halnuck. Heidi was a very kind person, loved by all who knew her and for years she and her sisters always attended bingo together and also met for a good game of cards. Heidi’s pride and joy was her family, expressing daily how much she loved them, was a faithful fan of the Blue Jays, never missing a game on T.V. and she was an animal lover, especially her dog Bandit. Heidi is survived by her loving husband of 41 ones, Stafford, daughter Lorrie (Blair); sons Paul, Lee, Chris (Nadine), Trevor (Bonnie), Wayne; sisters Sadie (Raymond) Pastuck, Frances (Danny) Campbell, Rose (Phillip) Lewis, Tracey Wright, Elaine (Anthony) Lamey, grandchildren Zackery, Dawson, Coady, Katarina, Destiny and Nevaeh and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her son Robbie, sisters Kathleen, Elizabeth, Suzanne, Pauline; brothers Paul, Ronnie and Johnny. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. and a celebrations of Heidi’s life will be Wednesday, December 5th at 10 am in the Parish of Saint Leonard with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Cremation will follow and a reception at the New Waterford Army and Navy, 8th St. All are welcome.
