Hilda Marie Degbiobbi

It is with great sadness that we, the family announce that Marie DeGiobbi, 58, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of Hilda (Pastuck) McKinnon and the late John McKinnon.

Marie enjoyed going for long drives, a good game of bingo with friends, but her main joy in life was spending time with her son, Ryan.

She is survived by her mother Hilda; husband Brain; son Ryan; daughter Jerrylyn; brother John Calvin (Shannon); sister Mary (Gerald); grandsons Josh and Coady; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends, aunt Linda MacKinnon, Bridget MacCuish and Donna Steiger.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her son Brian.

Cremation has taken place and a chapel service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Deacon Leo Penny officiating followed by a luncheon at the K.O.C Hall Plummer Ave. All are welcome. Burial to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, 902-862-7500.
