Helen Sarah Sadie MarshIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sadie from this life into the arms of our heavenly lord and savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at home.She was born in North Sydney, Jan. 18, 1923, to the late Nicholas (Theresa Haley) Byzenko.Sadie was the loving wife of Bill Bull Marsh; the mother of Bill (Anna) Marsh, Valerie (John) LaFitte, Brenda (Jack) Marsh, Ramona Marsh, Roberta (Dan) Head and Debbie (Keith) Pastuck; grandmother to Bill (Donelda) Marsh, Alana Marsh, Samson Doyle, Vanessa (Tom) Pierson, Brandie McMullin, Rick (Angela) Haley, Ryan (Alicia) Haley, Chris Head, Gillian Head, Tom (Terra) Pastuck, Tyler (Venessa) Pastuck; great-grandmother to Connor Marsh, Carter McMullin, Taylor Haley, Hayden Pastuck, Kadience Pastuck; sister to Aileen Byzenko, Nick Byzenko, Leo (Jan) Byzenko and the late Ambrose Gilmet.In her younger years she was very active in the community. Sadie had a kind thought and word for all those she met. She was loved by all those who knew her and an inspiration to many. Sadie was a mother to all those in need. She had a strong faith and prayer life with a soft spirit which reflected in her daily life. Her life revolved around her familys happiness and welfare. They were the being of her existence. If they were happy she was happy.There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Mclellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford. A Christian celebration of her life will take place Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Leonards Parish in New Waterford with Fr. Douglas MacDonald officiating. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, River Ryan.
