Germaine Durdle

Germaine Durdle, 54, of River Ryan passed away peacefully at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital on Monday, May 30, 2016. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Palmer and Isabell (MacMullin) Helle.

Germaine was a member of St. Agnes Church. She worked in senior homes for many years as a personal care giver. She loved doing crafts and got great pleasure doing yard work with her husband John.

She is survived by her husband John Durdle; brothers Johnny Helle (Brenda), Fort McMurray, Jules MacLeod (Mary), New Victoria; nephews John and Kevin Helle, Fort McMurray, Collin MacLeod, Saskatchewan, Johnathon MacLeod, New Waterford, and Travis Durdle, Truro; brother in-law “third brother” Robert Durdle (Sheila) and Clifford Durdle (Kristina), Ontario.

Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the funeral home chapel at 11 A.M. with Deacon Leo Penny officiating. Luncheon to follow at the K.O.C, Plummer Ave, All are welcome. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, 902-862-7500.
