George James Ruelland

We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Georgie on March 13, 2020. Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Sis) Ruelland.

He spent his last day surrounded by loved ones and then left this world in the hands of his two children.

George was a true gentleman and would give you the shirt off his back. He was also a well respected and loved drywaller for 42 years and could light up any room with his presence.

He is survived by his daughter Brittany, Son Kyle, brothers; Alex (Marilyn), Albert, Sandy, Bradley, sisters; Alvina (Gerald) Walker, Alanna (Gordie) MacNeil, and his two best friends Roger and Steff.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Mary Irene and Cindy Brother Robert, Nephew Robbie, sister in law Lois.

His daughter would like to thank Alex, Marilyn, Roger, and Steff for their support during this journey. She would also like to thank Dr. MacKay, Dr. Szabu, Dr. Saliba, Dr. MacDonald and the nursing staff in the ER and Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care they gave to George during his short battle.

Cremation has taken place. Donations in George’s memory can be made to Palliative Care or the charity of one’s choice.
