Elizabeth "Betty" Mcpherson

It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Elizabeth McPherson, age 66, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Budge.

Elizabeth worked in the dietary department the New Waterford Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards, rock n roll and dancing.

She is survived by her children Sherry and Lorne (Pauline) and their father Lorne McPherson; sister Gloria; brother Joseph; grandchildren Melissa “Baby Duck”, Mitchell and Madison; great-granddaughter Chloe; special nieces Susan and Ruthie as well as her cat “Baby” who she loved.
She was a very special mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who we loved dearly.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Thelma and Colleen.

Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating.
