It is with greatness sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Edward Joseph Aucoin on December 18, 2020. Born September 1, 1963, he was the son of Betty (Jennex) Aucoin and the late Libby Aucoin.
Eddie had worked in road construction for Municipal Ready Mix and as a pipe fitter for Quinn Construction, Alberta. He also in his earlier years had a trucking business, known as Fast Eddie Trucking. Eddy was a loving person with a kind heart ,he was very proud of his children’s achievements and attended whatever they did. He was a wonderful caregiver to his mother, doing everything for her daily and chauffeuring her and his sister Frances shopping, to restaurants or wherever they wanted to go. He enjoyed walking, Tarabish games, playing pool, hockey and baseball.
He is survived by his loving mom Betty; daughter Holli (Kayden); son Jordan; sisters Linda (Dave) White, Jeanette (Joel) Matthews, Frances, Joanne Hernadez, Lily MacLellan and Karen; brothers Ernie (Sharena), Stanley (Rosalie), Wayne, Gerard (Johnna) and Living Waters; grandchildren Landson, Allannh, Lila, Rylynn, Marley and his children’s mom, Lorie Beaton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was also predeceased by brothers Jimmy James and Joe Joseph.
Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, 902-862-7500. Many thanks to everyone for the phone calls, food, money, and cards. Your thoughtfulness will not be forgotten.
