Dorothy Roach Neville, age 74, of Convent St., New Waterford, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2021. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Theresa (McIsaac) and Eugene Roach.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Amanda Dennehy, her stepdaughter, Frances Ann (Tim Parks), Ontario, stepson Andrew Neville (Colleen), Alberta; grandchildren Christina, Erika, Jessica, Luke, and Liam; step-grandchildren Neville, Ethan, Emma, and Christopher (3 great grandchildren); sisters Eileen (John Cashen), Cathy (Paul Doyle); brothers Frank Roach (Wanda), Billy Roach (Roxanne); many nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Francis and her dear sister Rose.

When she was 16, Dorothy left home to serve with the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph in Hamburg, New York, for 11 years. She later returned to her hometown where she raised her daughter and worked for various local employers including the Town Hall, former Selminco Inc., and New Waterford Homemakers.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service, as per Dorothy’s wishes. Donations in her memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
