It's with shattered hearts that we share the sudden passing of our sweet Angel, Cynthia Marie MacPherson , 59, of New Waterford. Loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, and one of a kind friend. Cynthia was the daughter of David (deceased) and Catherine (MacKinnon) Mackay, the youngest girl in her family of 10.

Her hobbies were playing tarbish with her beloved friends, and spending time with her mom and sisters. Her favorite place was her cabin in Mira where she spent many summers with family and friends. Cynthia was known for her humor and beautiful outlook on life, always finding the good in every person and situation. She had the largest heart, and she always gave more than she had. She was a second mother to so many and we would all give anything for another chat with "Big C." She lived to help others, and feed everyone with her delicious cooking. Her chicken Tetrazzini and gravy were worlds best. There was always a plate and a seat at her table for all. Known of her kindness, love, and light, she felt like home to so many. We could never scratch the surface to name all those that she has blessed, and she will forever be an angel to all of us.

Cynthia is survived by her mother Catherine, her husband of 32 years, Jake, daughter Erica (Darrell), son Redmond, grand daughter Ember; sisters Catherine (Francis – deceased), Mary, Zita (Jimmy), Tenie (Ricky); brothers Sonny (Millie), George (Joanne), Ronald (Sheila), Mark, Willie (Anette).

Special Thanks to the nursing staff at the Regional Hospital.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held with Father James Oliver officiating, followed by interment in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Donations can be made to St Vincent de Paul food bank, New Waterford, where Cynthia was a dedicated volunteer of 26 years.
