Our family regret to announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friends Colette Viola Churchill. She was the daughter of the late Adam & Rose Carle (Timmins, Ont.) Colette loved life and always had a smile for everyone she met and all visitors to her home. She enjoyed going to bingo, going for breakfast and playing at the casino with her best friend and husband Alex. She is survived by loving husband Alex Churchill, beloved children Lucie (Joe) Matheson, Glace Bay; Lorraine (Marc) Chartrand and Paul (Lori) Langlois, both of Sudbury, Ont., Diane Tskaladis, Markham, Ont., grandchildren Alyssa, Jordan, Rebecca, Brianne, Maggie, Janelle, George, Paul and her two special angels, her two great-granddaughters Tarynn and Elena. Her loving siblings brother Fern (Pauline) Carle, Timmins, Ont., Lee (Rose Marie) Carle, Elliot Lake, Ont., Victor (deceased) Laurette Carle, Timmins, Ont., Armond (deceased) Carle, Quebec, Gerry (deceased) Roberta Carle, Sudbury, Ont; sisters Jaqueline (Bob deceased) Gagné, Elliot Lake, Ont,. Yvette (Vic) Roy deceased, Elliot Lake, Alida (Art) Rumleski deceased, Timmins, Ont; brothers in-law Russell (Anne) Churchill, Virginia , USA, Jim (Anne deceased) Sonnickson, Bridgewater, N.S, Anne Marie (John Deceased) Churchill, New Waterford, many nieces and nephews, here and Ontario. Our family has lost the pillar of our home, but it has not fallen. Love you Mom. Cremation has taken place. There will be a chapel service will be held on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Deacon Leo Penny officiating.
