It is with heavy hearts and great sadness the family wish to announce the sudden passing of Bug ,owner and operator of the French Club, on January 19, 2012. Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Alfred and Roberta (Corbett) MacLean Bug was a dedicated family man and a wonderful father. Bug was a member of the New Waterford Army and Navy he was an avid dart shooter, a big sports fan and the Toronto Maple Leafs were his favorite team. He is survived by his wife Bridget(Susie), his pride and joy, his sons Devon 11, Aaron 10 and daughter Shaylene 22 (Josh), sisters Lynda (David) Syms, Darlene Odo, Sharon (Eckie) McNeil; brothers Charles `Puggy`(Myrtle), Alonzo `Crow`` (Mary) Gerald `Skinny`` (Joanne), Dale `Mugsy``, Robert `Yacky`` (Joanne), special nieces and nephews, Julie and Mary MacLean, D .J. (Patricia), Ryan and Mitchell Ellsworth; also survived by several nieces and nephews; special aunt Patsy Woodland, sister-in-law Vange MacMaster( Derek), brothers-in-law Johnny (Kelly), Danny and Peter MacMaster. Besides his parents Bug was also predeceased by his brothers Freddie, Bernie, (Jose), and sister Sheila Marie. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford 862-7500 and a funeral mass to celebrate Bug`s life will be Monday, January 23rd at 10 am in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Ave. with Father Ray Huntley officiating, followed by interment in St. Agnes Cemetery.
