Annie Louise Macdonald

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Annie Louise MacDonald on October 25, 2012 at the Maple Hill Manor, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Port Hood, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary MacDonald. In her earlier years she worked at the Cove Guest Home, Sydney. She is survived by sisters Catherine Nemis, Cassie Pilon, Alma Rame, Cecelia Gottwald, Maurina MacLean and brother Jerome MacDonald, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by brothers John, Angus, Archie, Frank, Colin; sisters Rachel and Christina. There will be no visitation, a funeral mass will be held Tuesday, October 30th at 10 am in the Parish of Saint Leonard with Father Ray Huntley officiating, burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery followed by a reception in the parish hall, Convent St. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford 862-7500 Donations can be made in Annie’s memory to the Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford.
