It is with great sadness we the family announce the passing our precious mother, Anna Hussey on June 15, 2013 in London, Ont. surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Kathleen (Pembroke) Hawley and resided in River Ryan most of her life and later on she moved to London, Ont. She was a former member of the Parish of St. Michael's, River Ryan, a member of the Catholic Women's League and served on the Parish Cemetery Committee. She was a quilter and donated her work to several parish activities. Anna is survived by daughters Margaret, Kathleen, Maureen and son Michael, and her brother, Frankie. She was predeceased by her husband Francis (Scotty), son Pius, sisters Adeline MacDonald, Kathleen Grieve, Winnie Winslow; brothers Rev. Father Pius Hawley, Patrick, Jimmie and Bernie. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June, 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and a funeral mass to celebrate Anna's life will be Friday, June 21st at 10 am in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Ave, with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery followed by a luncheon in the parish hall, Convent St., and all are welcome. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500. Donations in memoroy of Anna can be made to St. Michael's Cemetery Fund.
